Description: Deep chocolate brown pelt with lighter underbelly. Eyes are the color of deep topaz. Fairly large in size, but athletic. Muscles abound beneath the young wolf's pelt.

Personality: Tartok is very shy upon first meeting others, but quickly warms to them and becomes a most loyal friend. His only goal in life is to fit in and please those around him. His strange coloration combined with his size can at times intimidate during first impressions, but his warm demeanor always shines through. He is really just a giant puppy, preferring to play and joke than argue. He has always been the entertainer, never allowing anyone around him to be down or unhappy. He is great around pups and the elderly. This giant puppy is just trying to find somewhere to be accepted.
History: Tartok was born to an unusually large litter of 8, the youngest and the runt he was picked on constantly by his litter mates. He was not only the youngest and the smallest, he was colored unlike anyone else they had seen before. His father wondered whether the pup could actually be his and chose to shun the boy. His litter mates used this to torture him more. He took it in stride and became the pack jokester. His mother always maintained her innocence, despite the whispers around the pack. Tartok never seemed to notice and kept high spirits. Always the class clown, he was everyone's friend, and that was the problem. He fell for the most beautiful female pup around. Unfortunately she was already promised to another. Her parents wanted her to be with the son of the Alpha, the heir apparent to the pack. To her Tartok was just a friend so it was nothing to do as her parents pleased. The poor lovable pup was heartbroken, but he knew that with his questionable lineage and everyone's view of him there was no way he could fight for her. He simply made another joke out of it. He was able to stay within the pack until he was 1 1/2 years old, at which point his father decided he could no longer stand the sight of him and asked the Alpha to send him away, he was grown and it was time to find his own way. He wandered for about 6 months, meeting new wolves and learning life lessons. The jokester grew up and became a fairly talented hunter and a very muscular youth. While alone he entertained himself with running and building his skills. When not hunting he is content to simply play a game of tag or chase with random animals he comes across. His heart is mended, though scarred, his skin is tougher (metaphorically), and he's ready for anything. He is still looking for a place where he will fit in, where someone can overlook his abnormalities and sketchy lineage, where heart and personality are what matters.
